Cost and Payment Procedures:
Lessons are private and one-half hour in length. Fees vary depending on the individual teacher.
Lesson tuition is payable on a monthly basis, due on or before the first lesson of the month. Checks should be made payable to the teacher.
Scheduling and Attendance:
If you wish to schedule lessons at The Music Connection School of Music, please fill out the registration form, or contact the lesson coordinator, Bruce Abbe. Every attempt will be made to schedule you at this time. Demand for lessons might necessitate putting you on a wait list.
Students are required to bring their own instrument to lessons. If you need to rent an instrument, Music Connection has a full array of quality instruments for your use at home or school.
Lessons cancelled by the student are not subject to refund. Our teachers rely on these lessons as a steady source of income. This policy helps us maintain a high quality staff. Most importantly, consistency and commitment are the key elements of the learning process. You will not be charged for any lesson(s) cancelled by the teacher.
You must provide the teacher with a two week notice in order to terminate lessons.
Students are expected to be on time for lessons. Late arrival will mean a shortened lesson. In the event the teacher is late, you will receive your full lesson time.
If your lesson payments are more than two weeks past due or you miss two weeks of lessons in succession without notifying your teacher, the teacher may, at his or her discretion, remove your name from the schedule and offer that lesson time to a new student.
Due to high demand for lessons, priority will be given to current Music Connection customers. These are customers who have purchased or rented an instrument from Music Connection .
